Aveng Grinaker-LTA successfully assisted client Heineken in the planning and construction of its first brewery in South Africa - in record time.

The 70 000m2 Sedibeng  Brewery in Randvaal, South East of Johannesburg, is Heineken's fastest-built brewery of this size. It comprises production buildings and cool cellars, as well as a bottling plant and distribution warehouse storage area of approximately 15 000 m2.

First-class and fully automatic, it has the technical capacity to produce 3 million hectolitres a year.
